Getting a little extra for something you were already doing is hard to beat.
Just ask the contractors participating in Viega Rewards.
“We use Viega consistently anyway, so it makes sense for us,” said Jeff Bucher, Jr., Vice President of Edward J. White, Inc., a mechanical contracting firm in South Bend, Indiana. “If they’re offering incentives for us on a product we already use, why not?”
Todd Ellis, Vice President of LG Ellis Plumbing in Sacramento, California, agrees: “I’m buying all the Viega stuff, so I might as well sign up for Viega Rewards and see what else I can get.”
Both companies were quick to sign up for Viega Rewards, which lets contractors earn points for purchasing Viega products, then turn those points into rewards like tools, fittings, sessions through Viega’s Seminar Centers and more. Once contractors enroll, they upload invoices of their Viega purchases. The invoices are reviewed and points are awarded. Participants can accumulate points and shop for whatever they need. Points never expire, so it’s easy to save up for a big redemption.
“Right now, we’re letting our points accumulate. We’re looking at primarily tooling, since that’s a large expense,” Bucher said. “I see that as being the biggest benefit.”
Using Viega pressing systems is its own reward, Ellis said: “It’s just about how my plumbers love using the Viega fittings. It’s so much easier and quicker, and then we’re done so much faster. We run about 15 guys in the field, all commercial projects, and Viega really helps us.”
Mike Taylor, the controller at Edward J. White, urged others to join.
“It’s a chance to get tooling and parts for really no cost to yourself,” Taylor said. “You buy these things anyway, so if Viega is going to be kind enough to let us get free product, why not take advantage?”
For the remainder of 2020, Viega Rewards participants can earn triple points on all ProPress Copper and MegaPress purchases. There are also other opportunities like trivia questions, short quizzes and other offers to earn points faster.
