The root purpose of the Viega Experience Center is to foster connections for everyone, from seasoned professionals to the industry's newest recruits. "The VEC was created as a way to be close to our customers," says Vinnie Pizutelli, Viega Regional Sales Manager. "It's about building a community within the industry. We want to maintain a consistent local presence to connect with the critical customers and industry professionals in the areas we serve.”

The center provides a versatile space for hosting training sessions, client meetings, and other industry events. It is a multifunctional space where industry professionals come together to learn and collaborate through events like live demonstrations and training sessions, customer appreciation days, happy hours, and educational lunch and learns. Through this programming, Viega ensures that professionals are educated, empowered and prepared for the future of plumbing and piping. "Our VECs always keep things fresh, informative, and professional, no matter what event is being held," Pizutelli notes. This flexibility has been pivotal, with the center also hosting creative events such as PGA-themed gatherings featuring golf simulators, plumbing skills competitions, and cornhole tournaments on the 4,500-square-foot outdoor terrace.
As a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the NYC VEC is constantly finding innovative ways to engage with the community, hosting events with local unions, university students, and even organizing community blood drives. "We're proud to be located within one of the world's greatest cities and are continually looking at creative ways to utilize our space to build community," Pizutelli emphasizes.

While the flagship Viega Experience Center is already making a profound impact, Viega's plans for training and groundbreaking innovation don't end in New York. "We believe our VECs and seminar centers need to be located near major populous areas where we can be the boots on the ground for our customers," Pizutelli shares. "We intend to create versatile spaces that they can use to foster relationships and enhance their business opportunities." Additionally, the new Ohio plant will tout Viega's largest seminar center location to date.
