Can Only White Valve Handles be Used for Potable Water?
The short answer is no. White handles are not the only option for potable water. When it comes to valves, each handle color signifies a different application. Viega offers four color-coded valves that correspond to a ProPress or MegaPress system. Our systems use Green, Red, Yellow and Gray handles to communicate different system compatibility. What Color Valve Handles Do I Need?
Green Viega Valve handles signify compatibility with ProPress potable water applications, and red handles are used for ProPress non-potable water. Yellow valve handles are for use with MegaPressG, while gray handles are for standard MegaPress.
Which Tool Do I Need to Install Viega Valves?
